Eight questions Each question scores 0 to 3. Answers update the result live. You can submit a tailored report once you have answered at least 6.
Q1 Do you know the GSM of every apparel SKU in your current programme? Quality GSM (grams per square metre) is the single most useful fabric weight number.
Yes, every product page shows it. For most items, but not all. Only for a few. Not really; "premium quality" is what the supplier says.
Q2 Are the materials in your kit certified (GOTS, GRS, FSC) with public numbers? ESG Certification numbers should be verifiable on the public register.
Yes, certification numbers per supplier on every product. Some lines are certified; others are not flagged. Supplier claims eco friendly without certification numbers. No certifications in the spec sheet.
Q3 How does your kit ship to recipients? ESG FSC kraft mailers, paper tape only, no plastic anywhere. Mostly paper packaging, occasional plastic polybag. Plastic polybags inside paper or card outer mailer. Plastic mailers and plastic void fill throughout.
Q4 How consistent is the kit specification year on year? Brand Fabric weight, cut, colour, and logo placement.
Locked in a brand kit with Pantone references. Every reorder identical. Mostly consistent; minor drift on one or two items. Noticeable drift year on year as suppliers change blanks. The kit looks different every year.
Q5 Would the recipient wear the apparel by choice on a Saturday? Brand The honest fashion-first test.
Yes, the apparel reads as a premium item with a small brand mark. For some pieces, but not all. Mostly the laundry rotation or gym. The apparel does not leave the wardrobe.
Q6 When does a new hire kit land relative to day one? Brand On or before day one, every time. Day one for most; a small percentage slip to day two or three. Day three to day five is normal. The kit lands when it lands.
Q7 What is the replacement order rate on your apparel in the first twelve months? Quality Driven by fabric weight, stitching, and construction.
Under 3 percent. 3 to 7 percent. 8 to 15 percent. Above 15 percent, or we do not track it.
Q8 Do you have a cradle to gate carbon footprint per SKU on file? ESG Required for scope 3 reporting and B Corp recertification.
Yes, supplier publishes per SKU CO2e with methodology. Supplier provides aggregate figures on request. Supplier claims carbon neutral via offsets, no underlying data. No carbon data available from the supplier.
