Signing up
You do not need an account to place an order. Guest checkout works for one-off purchases. An account gives you a few things guest checkout does not.
What an account gives you
- Order history. Every order, with the design, the recipients, and the tracking link, in one place.
- Reorder. Click "Reorder" on any past order to drop the same items into a new cart.
- Saved addresses. For repeat shipping to the same place (your office, a regular cohort, a frequent recipient).
- Saved designs. Upload a logo once, reuse it across orders.
- B2B features. Workspaces, Net 30, approval workflows, and company stores are account-only.
How to sign up
- Go to <a href="/signup">normamade.com/signup</a>.
- Enter your email.
- Verify the email (click the link we send).
- Set a password, or use a magic link going forward.
Sign-up is free. We do not charge for an account; we charge for orders.
Sign-in methods
You can sign in three ways once an account exists:
- Email and password. Standard.
- Magic link. Click a link in your email; no password needed.
- Google. One-tap sign-in via your Google account. We get your email and name, nothing else.
You can use any of the three on any sign-in; they all resolve to the same account by email.
Personal vs workspace
The account-level model is one user, one or more workspaces.
- Personal account. Your individual orders, addresses, designs. B2C-style.
- Workspace. A shared space for a company, with members, billing, approvals, Net 30.
You can create or join a workspace from "Account settings > Workspaces" once you have signed in.
Guest checkout vs signed-in
Guest checkout works fine for:
- One-off orders.
- Personal gifts where you do not need to reorder.
Sign-in is required for:
- Net 30 invoicing.
- Approval workflows.
- Multi-recipient orders over 5 recipients.
- Company stores.
We do not nag you to sign up. The checkout flow is the same either way; we offer the option at the end if you want to save the order to an account.
Email verification
We verify the email address by sending a link the first time you sign up. Until verified:
- You can place orders.
- You cannot use Net 30, workspaces, or B2B features.
The verification email comes from no-reply@normamade.com. Check spam if you do not see it within 5 minutes.
What we ask for
Sign-up asks for an email and a password. That is it. Name, company, and address are optional and asked for at the point you need them (typically at the first checkout).
We do not run a credit check at sign-up. The Net 30 application is a separate step and explicit.
