How to reset your password, what happens to the reset link, and the security around it.

Resetting your password

You can reset your password from the sign-in page. The link is valid for 1 hour; after that you request a new one.

How to reset

  1. Go to <a href="/signin">normamade.com/signin</a>.
  2. Click "Forgot password".
  3. Enter your email.
  4. Check your inbox for the reset email.
  5. Click the link in the email.
  6. Set a new password.

The reset email comes from no-reply@normamade.com. Check spam if you do not see it within 5 minutes.

Why the link expires after 1 hour

Reset links are single-use and time-limited. Both reduce the risk if the email is intercepted or forwarded. If the link expires, request a new one; the previous link cannot be reused even within the hour.

What happens to your sessions

Resetting your password signs you out of all active sessions across browsers and devices. You sign back in with the new password. This is intentional: if you reset because you suspect compromise, the old sessions should not stay live.

Magic links as an alternative

If you would rather not deal with passwords, sign in via magic link:

  1. Go to the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your email.
  3. Click "Send magic link" instead of typing a password.
  4. Click the link in the email.

Magic links sign you in for a single session. The link is valid for 15 minutes.

You can use magic links permanently if you prefer; you do not need to set a password.

Two-factor authentication

We do not require 2FA on personal accounts. For workspace admins on Net 30 accounts, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA from "Account settings > Security":

  • TOTP (Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy).
  • WebAuthn / hardware keys (YubiKey, Titan).

We do not offer SMS-based 2FA. SMS is vulnerable to SIM-swap.

If you cannot access the reset email

If you have lost access to the email itself (left a company, lost the inbox):

  1. Email support@normamade.com from the new address.
  2. Provide proof of identity: a recent order number, the rough date and total of the order, and (for workspaces) a confirmation from your IT or workspace admin.
  3. We verify and either move the account to a new email or restore access via a phone call.

We do not move accounts without verification. This protects against account takeover.

Compromised account

If you think your account has been compromised:

  1. Reset the password immediately.
  2. Email security@normamade.com from the reset email so we can audit the recent activity on the account.
  3. Review the order history and address book; flag anything that does not look right.

We respond to security@normamade.com within 1 working day.
