Cards, wallets, Klarna, and Net 30. What each one means in practice and which to pick.

Payment methods

Norma accepts the standard B2C and B2B payment methods. Pick whichever suits the order.

Cards

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
  • Charged in full at the moment you place the order.
  • 3D Secure (Strong Customer Authentication) where the issuer requires it.
  • All processing via Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified). We do not store full card numbers.

The "use this card next time" option saves the last 4 digits, expiry, and a Stripe payment-method token. We never see or store the rest.

Apple Pay and Google Pay

  • One-tap payment from a saved card in your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  • Works on Safari (iOS, macOS) for Apple Pay and Chrome (everywhere) for Google Pay.
  • The underlying card is what is charged; refunds and disputes route through the card issuer.

We recommend Apple Pay or Google Pay where available: faster, no card entry, and equivalent in every other way.

Klarna

  • Buy now, pay in 3 instalments (zero interest if paid on schedule).
  • Available on orders between GBP 35 and GBP 1,000.
  • Soft credit check by Klarna; does not affect your credit score.
  • Klarna runs the payment schedule, not us. Missed payments are between you and Klarna.

For Klarna refunds, see the refund article.

Net 30 invoicing (B2B)

  • Available to approved workspaces after a Creditsafe UK check.
  • Invoice raised on the day the order ships.
  • Payment due 30 days from the invoice date.
  • Paid by bank transfer, GoCardless direct debit, or a Stripe card link on the invoice.

See the Net 30 article for the full detail.

Bank transfer

Bank transfer is the default for Net 30 invoices. For one-off non-Net 30 orders, bank transfer is available on request:

  • Email orders@normamade.com with the desired order before placing.
  • We send you a pro-forma invoice with our bank details.
  • Once we see the funds clear (typically same working day for UK transfers), we release the order to production.

Bank transfer is the slowest method (you wait for the transfer to clear) but the lowest fee, which can matter for orders over GBP 5,000.

What we do not accept

  • Cash. No cash on collection; we are a postal operation.
  • Cheques. We do not bank cheques.
  • Cryptocurrency. Not accepted.
  • PayPal. Not currently supported. We are tracking it for 2027.

Currency

All orders process in GBP. International orders are charged in GBP; your card issuer converts at the rate on the day.

We do not currently offer EUR or USD invoicing. Multi-currency is on the roadmap for EU expansion.

Security

  • All payment processing is via Stripe. We are not in the card-data path.
  • We never email asking for card details. If you receive such an email, forward to security@normamade.com.
  • Refunds and disputes go through the original payment method.
