Multi-recipient orders

How to ship one order to many addresses, paste a CSV, and reuse a recipient list.

Multi-recipient orders

A multi-recipient order is one order, one invoice, one approval, many delivery addresses. Useful for welcome kits, anniversary gifts, and recognition programmes.

How it works

  1. Configure the product as normal (size, colour, print).
  2. At checkout, choose "Ship to multiple addresses".
  3. Add recipients in one of three ways:
    • Paste a CSV. Headers: name, address line 1, address line 2 (optional), city, postcode, country, size (optional). One recipient per row.
    • Type recipients individually. Useful for under 10 recipients.
    • Reuse a saved cohort. If you have used multi-recipient before, your previous lists are saved.
  4. Confirm the cost. Each parcel ships individually with its own per-parcel rate; the order page shows the total.
  5. Check out as normal. One payment, one invoice.

What we validate

Before you confirm:

  • Address format. We check the postcode and city against the country's postal service database. Mistyped postcodes flag with the suggested correction.
  • Country shipping. Each address is checked against where we ship; an EU address with a missing VAT number for a B2B order flags before checkout.
  • Per-recipient size mismatches. If the design has a per-size variant (XS to 3XL), we check each recipient has a size.

Errors flag inline with the row number so you can fix and re-paste.

CSV template

The simplest CSV is six columns:

name,address_line_1,city,postcode,country,size
Alice Smith,12 High Street,London,SW1A 1AA,UK,M
Bob Jones,45 Rue Saint-Denis,Paris,75002,FR,L

Optional columns: address_line_2, company_name, phone (helps couriers in some EU countries).

We accept CSV, TSV, and Google Sheets paste.

Saved cohorts

Once you have run a multi-recipient order, the recipient list is saved as a cohort under your workspace. Reuse it for the next round:

  • New hires. Build a "new hires" cohort that you add to each month.
  • Anniversary cohorts. Save the list per cohort year.
  • Event attendees. Save once and reorder against it for the next event.

Cohorts are workspace-scoped: workspace admins can see and edit; members can use but not delete.

Shipping cost

Multi-recipient orders use per-parcel shipping. Each recipient gets a shipping rate based on their parcel weight and destination. Bulk orders over 100 parcels to UK addresses qualify for a 10 percent shipping discount; we apply this automatically at checkout.

Approvals

If your workspace has an approval rule that triggers on multi-recipient orders, the order goes to the approver before payment runs. The approver sees the full recipient list and the per-recipient cost. They approve once; the order ships to everyone.

Tracking

Each recipient gets their own dispatch email with a tracking link. The workspace admin sees all tracking on the order page.

Cancellation

You can cancel within the 1-hour self-cancel window. After that, individual parcels may have started production; we cannot pull a single parcel back without manual handling. Reply to the order email if you need to cancel mid-batch and we will handle case by case.
