Logo placement
Each garment has standard placements that print cleanly. You can also request a custom placement; we will flag if it does not work and suggest the closest one that does.
Tees and polos
Standard placements:
- Left chest. Small mark, 70 to 100 mm wide. Works for wordmarks and compact icons.
- Centre chest. Medium mark, 200 to 280 mm wide. Works for most logo layouts.
- Full front. Up to 320 mm wide, hitting the natural width of the body.
- Centre back. Same dimensions as full front.
- Sleeve. 50 to 70 mm wide, on the upper arm. Subtle.
- Nape (back of neck, inside collar). 60 to 70 mm wide. Quiet brand mark.
Polos default to left chest with embroidery. DTG print on polos works but the surface texture varies; mockup approval catches anything off.
Hoodies and sweatshirts
Standard placements:
- Left chest. Same as tees.
- Centre chest, above the pouch pocket. Up to 280 mm wide, ending 50 mm above the pocket seam.
- Centre back, between the shoulder blades. Up to 320 mm wide.
- Sleeve. 50 to 70 mm wide.
- Hood, side panel. Small print, 40 to 60 mm wide. Subtle and unusual.
- Nape under the hood. 60 to 70 mm wide.
Bags and totes
- Centre, vertical. Up to 240 mm wide on a standard tote.
- Bottom corner. Small mark, 60 to 80 mm wide. Reads as a maker's mark.
Mugs and bottles
- Wrap. Full circumference, full height of the cylindrical body. Plan the artwork knowing the handle creates a 20 mm dead zone.
What does not print well
- Across seams. The ink cracks at the join.
- Across pocket lines. Pouches and chest pockets break the print.
- Over zips, eyelets, or buttons.
If your design crosses one of those, we flag it on the mockup before production starts.
Custom placements
Reply to the order email with a sketch (photo of the garment with the placement marked is fine) and we will confirm whether it works. If it does not, we suggest the closest one that does.
